Hello to all Husky fans!  Thank you to everyone supporting us throughout the season.  Special thanks to our parents; you were so loyal and enthusiastic in your support, and we love seeing you in the stands! 

Our basketball program continues to successfully move forward in our second year.  We had a red-hot second half of the season, winning eight of our last eleven games.  We qualified for both the Shore Conference and State Tournaments.  It was the first time in fifteen years that our program qualified for the Shore Conference Tournament, where we beat a heavily favored Toms River East team, and played last year’s state champion Neptune down to the wire. 

Our team was led by our “iron five” starting line-up, including Lauren Postell, Montana Bertoli, Tiffany Ezepue, Carlie McCloskey, and Amanda Carmichael.  All five are only Juniors, and we are so excited about the prospects of great success for next season.  We also acquired our “sixth (wo)man” this year in Freshman Colleen Branagan.  These six student-athletes are a solid group for next year, and we are hoping that a few of our Junior Varsity players can step up and assist us in our quest to achieve greatness next year. 

We will be losing only one Senior from our squad this year, Yaliza Feliciano.  She was a dedicated four-year player, who played very well on our Senior Night in helping us beat Toms River South, and we will miss her very much next year. 

Once again, Coach Eisenstein and I want to thank all of our supporters!  My special thanks goes to Coach Eisenstein, who has been such an important part of our recent successes. 

Next season starts NOW!!!  We have nine months before next season begins, and we need to get ready.  We need to improve to get to the next level, the elite level.  We need to start on our workout programs!  Girls, get to work!!!!
