Dear Cliffwood School families,
As you know, our school’s playground is closed and, most likely, must be replaced. For now, a temporary fence has been erected to keep children off for their safety. We are in the preliminary stages of working toward obtaining a replacement playground for our school and community. To that end, I am reaching out to announce an opportunity for Cliffwood School’s parents, students, and community members to share their own input for this process. This brainstorming meeting will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Cliffwood School’s library/media center. Parents and students are invited to share their input about ways to improve the playground, give suggestions for fundraising, and more. Everyone will have the chance to speak and share their ideas.
I fully understand the need for a playground at Cliffwood School and recognize the importance of play for our learners. This meeting is an important first step and I hope that you can attend.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
