    Student Performance Assessment Criteria


    Dear Parents and Students,

    Welcome to Psychology!  This is an academic elective that has specific requirements.   It is important that you take a few moments to read the following guidelines.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (732) 705 – 5200.  

    Following these guidelines will lead to a successful and enriching academic year. I look forward to a great school year!

    GRADING: Point System

      • Tests are out of 80-100 points
      • Quizzes will range between 30-60 points
      • Homework is out of 20 points
      • classwrk will range depending on the assignment
      • Projects range from 100-200 points depending on the amount of work required
      • projects and test- 50%
      • classwork- 25%
      • Quizes- 25%


    • There will be a number of test and quizzes per chapter
      • Psych Sims
      • Multiple response questions
      • Vocabulary and identification
      • module test
    • Before each chapter test a review sheet will be handed out
    • All essays will be handed in on turnitin.com

    Extra Credit:

    Will be given out periodically during each marking period. The Extra credit will have specific due dates and will not be acepted late. No Extra credit will be offered at the end of a Marking period and for ExtraCredit to count all regular assignments must be turned in and completed.


    • Students are responsible for all missed work
    • Students must find me for any missed assignments (I will not be chasing after them)
    • If students is aware of an upcoming absences and notifies me in a timely manner I will do my best to give students work ahead of time

    Google Account

    • Each student will be assigned a Google account
    • All class information including PPT, Projects, handouts, HW etc. will be shared on Google Classroom
