In an effort to be proactive, our Student Assistance Program will consist of both group and individual counseling.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- social skills/positive relationships
- anxiety/high stress
- bereavement
- anger/conflict resolution
Students may sign up for these by completing the below form. Once the SAC receives the form, Ms. Groninger or another counselor will meet with the student to determine if and which group is appropriate. This form is able to be submitted any throughout the school year.
A parental consent form will be required for participation in groups. Groups run approximately 6-8 weeks and are for 47 minutes on a rotating schedule so students are not missing the same period every time. Groups are run by all of the counselors. If you have further questions, please contact Ms. Groninger or your child's counselor.
