• Throughout class this year, we will utilize many different learning platforms.  Some of these platforms and what they offer are listed below.

Google Classroom - This will be the learning management system for our students this year.  Students can access all assignments, tests, quizzes, projects, etc. through Google Classroom.  All assignments will be turned in through here and all live Google Meets will be linked to the respective Classroom.

Generation Genius -  K-8 teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and educational videos paired with lesson plans, activities, quizzes, reading material and more.

Pear Deck - With Pear Deck, bring interactive, engaging slide presentations to your classroom. Real-time formative assessments and discussions enhance understanding and empower your students' learning process.

EdPuzzle- Introduce students to self-paced learning with interactive video lessons, add your own voice narration and questions! Edpuzzle allows students to view YouTube videos safely, with no access to inappropriate content. With Edpuzzle, teachers can share their video lessons with each other on a common platform.

Blooket -  A web-based quiz game platform for group competition or solo study.

Quizizz - An interactive student engagement platform, which offers multiple features to make the classroom fun and engaging

STEMscopes - A comprehensive suite of results-oriented STEM curriculum and professional development solutions used by more than 6 million students and 600,000 teachers across all 50 states. Created by educators for educators, STEMscopes is highly adaptable, affordable, and supports instruction in any kind of learning environment.

Flipgrid - Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" of short discussion-style questions that students respond to through recorded videos. Each grid is effectively a message board where teachers can pose a question and their students can post 90-second video responses that appear in a tiled "grid" display.

Classtag - ClassTag connects teachers and families with one easy to use app for all their communication needs. Remote, blended, hybrid, in person, Classtag is here for you through it all.

Google Meet - Google Meet is an interface to engage in student video conferencing and virtual classroom instructional delivery. This is where we hold class daily; students can enhance their experience by downloading Google Meet extensions such as GridView & Google Meet Attendees and Breakout Rooms - these are highly suggested to have before the start of the year.
