• Matawan Regional High School offers students the opportunity to participate in "school to work experiences" during their senior year. Working together with their guidance counselors, students will decide on one of three different work experiences: Work/Study, Cooperative/Internship Experience and Community Service.

    This program is designed to further develop students' 21st Century skills in professionalism, character, work ethics, employment law, working with others, job safety, paycheck management, career development and more.

    To achieve the goals of this program, students are required to attend Period 8 class with lessons focusing on 21st Century job skill development one day a week, and will be released from class to their School to Work Experience four days a week. Students are required to complete and submit Work Logs/Reflection Sheets on a weekly basis.

    *Requirements: Work Study - 10 hours per week. Must be currently working, receive a paycheck and have proof
    of transportation to and from work.

    *Work Study students must attend a live Google Meet session on Wednesdays from 10:54am - 11:19am.
