The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast (where available) and lunch to children each school day. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Department of Agriculture has extended its program providing free breakfast and lunch to children for the entire 2021-2022 school year regardless of free and reduced (F&R) price meal eligibility. The standard breakfast meal contains a whole grain breakfast entrée, fruit/fruit juice, and milk. The standard lunch meal contains an entrée, vegetable, fruit, and milk.
FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS CAN BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY
A NEW MEAL APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITED EACH SCHOOL YEAR
Please note the district is encouraging ALL families complete the 2021-2022 Free/Reduced Meal Application. Applications can be submitted ELECTRONICALLY via the Parent Portal, or hard copy which are available in all schools. Please return paper applications in one of the following ways:

Please be reminded that if your child was eligible for free or reduced meals as of June 30, 2021, he/she will still receive the same benefits until October 21, 2021. To continue to receive benefits after October 21, 2021, a new application must be completed, submitted and processed.
