    Competition Overview:

Each year PPPL hosts the New Jersey Regional Science Bowl, a double elimination contest with question and answer rounds in the fields of chemistry, biology, physics, astronomy, mathematics and general and earth sciences. Teams from middle, high and home schools are invited to enter.

The NJ Regional Competition is open to all of NJ and surrounding areas that do not have a regional Science Bowl competition near-by (within 50 miles).

The top team from each regional competition wins an expense-paid trip to the national competition in Washington, D.C.; trophies are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams.
