    Matawan 2...Hazlet 2
The Huskies concluded their 2011 season by playing one of their finest games against a tough Hazlet team. This game marked the last one for our five 8th graders: Jaida Allison, Tracey Brereton, Kristi Gambino, Jordan Grillo, and Jackie Robinson. All 3 girls were key players in this game as well as contributors to our success the last three seasons. Tracey Brereton played her finest game as a Husky as she scored two goals, one on an assist by Lauren Conroy the other on an assist by Kristi Gambino. Gambino played a strong game throughout as she worked tirelessly in the corner to win the ball and connect with Brereton for a goal. Jackie Robinson was again stellar in goal as she denied several Hazlet scoring chances. Jaida Allison, as usual, used her speed and physical play to control the right side of the field. Jordan Grillo worked hard all game and handled the job of marking Hazlet's top centerman effectively. Great job on an exciting season !!!
