     The start of a new school year is an exciting time!  It's a month of new beginnings for both students and teachers.  I look forward to an exciting year of teaching and a great year of learning.  I am interested in making this a successful and happy year for both you and your child.  To ensure this success, we must keep the lines of communication open.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at school.  If you leave a message or email, I will return your call as soon as possible.

         Please take time to discuss each school day with your child and offer positive feedback.  Continue reading to your child and encourage him or her to read independently.  Remember that no one is ever too old to enjoy listening to a good story.

         I am happy to have your child in my class and am looking forward to having your assistance in making this the best school year ever!  Your participation and encouragement will be major contributions to your child's success this year.
