• Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year.  Hope everyone is well rested and ready for an exciting year.  We are looking forward to motivating your children to lead active lives.  Our goal as teachers’ is to create an environment where students value and understand the importance of Physical Education and exercise.  In order to accomplish this goal we are asking for you cooperation.

Students will have Physical Education and Health once a week, please check the schedule for appropriate days.  Sneakers must be worn in order to participate in P.E. class.  We will be doing many activities on the gym floor, so students should dress appropriately.  If your child wears a skirt, shorts must be worn underneath.  It is a policy of the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District that jewelry is NOT to be worn on Physical Education days.  Students will be asked to remove any jewelry they might be wearing that day.  We can not be held accountable if jewelry is lost or broken!

The last thing we will ask of you is to encourage your children to lead an active life.  This could mean taking bike rides, walking or joining the local recreation league.  Your encouragement and involvement will make all the difference. We would like to thank you in advance for all of your cooperation in making your child’s Physical Education experience an enjoyable one.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
