HOMEWORK POLICY

Completion of speech/language assignments at home is essential to carryover of skills taught and learned in the therapy setting.  Students will receive speech/language homework each time they attend services (with occasional exceptions).  It is very important that a parent or homework helper review and sign each assignment so that I know it was completed correctly and so the student receives feedback regarding his/her performance on the task.  Review of assignments on a daily basis is of most benefit.  When the assignment is brought back completed and signed, the student will receive a sticker on his/her speech/language folder and a sticker on the homework chart.  As the students progress around their chart, they will have opportunities to win more stickers and prizes.
