The Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District Board of Education aims to provide effective governance and fiscal oversight to support the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District. In fulfilling its statutory responsibilities, the Board will ensure sound policy review, transparent decision-making, and responsible stewardship of public resources, while maintaining a continued focus on student achievement, well-rounded educational opportunities, and a secure school environment in accordance with New Jersey Department of Education expectations.
When you have a concern, please start by reaching out in this order: the teacher, counselor or case manager, principal, director, assistant superintendent, the superintendent, and lastly, the Board of Education. Reaching out in this order, and following up the list if your needs are not met, is the way for you - and us - to take care of your student.
