Hello! My name is Lauren Miles. I am a member of the Child Study Team in the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School district. I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, LDT-C. Currently, I am a case manager at Matawan Regional High School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Georgian Court University. Additionally, I have a Master's Degree in Special Education with an LDT-C certification from Monmouth University. Prior to coming to Matawan, I taught Special Education in Neptune Township School District for 11+ years.
As an LDT-C, I participate as a member of the Child Study Team in the identification and diagnosis of perceptual and learning disabilities. I also aid in the prescription and delivery of appropriate and effective educational services and programs. I will help to recommend and demonstrate techniques, strategies, resources, and materials to help meet student needs.
