WELCOME TO SCIENCE CLASS!
My name is Miss Reinecke, but for short you can call me Miss R. Welcome to your new school year at MAMS! I am so excited for this school year, and cannot wait for everyone to learn so many exciting and new things in the science classroom!
In my sixth and seventh grade ICR classrooms at MAMS I always try to implement differentiation in the classroom. Not all students in a classroom learn a subject in the same way or share the same level of ability. Differentiated instruction is a method of designing and delivering instruction to best reach each student! Research has proven that DI is effective for all students at any level. I enjoy learning about my students and understanding what strategies work best for them, so that they can reach their ultimate goal and be successful in my classroom.
This is my fourth year teaching at MAMS, and I could not ask for a better school district to be a part of! I recently received my Masters Degree in Middle School Science. Prior to MAMS, I studied at Rutgers University for my undergraduate, and I attended Georgian Court University for Graduate school and became certified as an Elementary School Teacher and a Special Education Teacher. I truly love my job as a teacher! I played soccer and lacrosse throughout high school and at both universities. Currently I am the assistant varsity soccer coach and head junior varsity coach at Matawan High School.
What I Love:
I grew up in Toms River, but both of my parents lived in the Matawan area their whole life. I have an older brother and sister, along with my pup, "Snoopy" who I love more than anything! I thoroughly enjoy: Walking my dog, soccer, lacrosse, snowboarding, running, hockey, (all sports really) :D. I also enjoy reading, going to the beach and hanging out with my family and close friends.
How to Reach Me:
I look forward to an AWESOME year!
