    Mentoring Our Students Together
The  Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District has partnered with community leaders to provide mentoring for students between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m (times vary with grade level). Initially, the program will operate two days per week during the school year, when school is in session. Currently, all sessions and activities will be held at Matawan Aberdeen Middle School, located at 469 Matawan Avenue.  Students in grades 2 to 12 are eligible to participate.  Program dates and times can be found on the calendar and also on the M.O.S.T. flyer.
Activities will include mentoring, tutoring by qualified teachers, counseling by school counselors, sports and recreation, job/life skills development, access to technology, and other outreach services.  Because of limited space, it is requested that students sign up at the principal’s office of the school at which he or she is enrolled.

The acronym for the program is “MOST,” which stands for Mentoring Our Students Together. The mission will be “To get the most out of young people by enabling them to become better students and better citizens, through ongoing mentoring relationships between Matawan-Aberdeen children and qualified adult volunteers.”
