Welcome to Matawan Regional High School! I am known by my students as Mr. F, and I will be teaching in Room 612 this school year. I have been working as a teacher since 2010, and I have been in MARSD since 2017. I started my career working at SEARCH Day Program in Ocean for three years, while doing coursework for my masters in Special Education. SEARCH is where I discovered my passion for working with kids with special needs and nine years later, I am still being rewarded every day! Every one of my students is special and unique and learns in a different way. In our classroom we apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide individualized instruction and meet the needs of every student. Additionally, we will focus on teaching life skills and community skills to prepare students for their future.
To the parents of incoming freshmen, I look forward to our breakfast tomorrow and meeting your wonderful young adults!
