Welcome to the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School Districts'  on-line newsletter!  One of our greatest initiatives for the 2008-2009

school year and forward is to keep the community informed of everything happening in our schools.  Our website was a great undertaking and we continue to build on the contents of the site.  We have especially utilized the e-alert tool, which allows us to communicate with our registered guest via e-mail.  While this has been a very useful tool in sharing the wonderful things happening around our district, it will also serve us well in the event that we need to share more important information with the community, such as school closing.  We have also utilized the podcast feature, which allows our parents to get inside the classrooms and see what their students are doing.  We hope to visit more classes this year and air the experience to our parent and community.  This is a very exciting time to be a part of MARSD.  Sit back and enjoy the ride!
