I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Mrs. DiDio’s substitute while she is on maternity leave. I received a B.A. from Drew University and an Ed. M. from Columbia Teachers College. I worked for several years as a school counselor for the New York City Department of Education before leaving to stay home with my 3 children. I have been working as a substitute teacher and counselor for several years now and am so excited to be here at Matawan Regional High School.
As a school counselor, I have always been focused on working with students and their families in developing the skills and strategies necessary to ensure academic success. Since my arrival here at Matawan Regional High School, I am pleased that I have been able to offer guidance and support to the many students who have called with questions and concerns regarding the unique situation in which we find ourselves as a school community. Surely, this will be a year like no other, navigating in uncharted territory, but I am looking forward to using these unusual circumstances and challenges as an opportunity to help my students grow and adapt, becoming more insightful, resourceful and independent.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 732-705-5318.
