Hello New Fourth Grade Friends and Families,

I am so excited about being your teacher this year.  Fourth grade is an important grade.  We will face many new challenges together, but I am confident that we will have a successful, memorable and rewarding year.  I have so many fun science activities planned.  Some of my favorite ones are using hot wheels cars to explore energy and observing and creating rock layers in the classroom.

In addition, with the new I-Ready Math program and various websites, learning math will be easy.

Here are some interesting facts about me. I have taught all elementary grades and have been working in the Matawan/Aberdeen School system for many years.  This is my 10th year teaching fourth grade math/science. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling & spending time with my family.  My family consists of my husband Neil, my son Justin ( who  graduated from Rutgers University a few years ago), my son Matthew ( who has just started his third year at Rider University) and my 3 cats. (Jessie, Daisy & Bob). 

I know we are going to have a wonderful year together!
