• Janover
    Mrs. Janover has been part of the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District since September of 2000.  She began her career as a third grade teacher at Ravine Drive Elementary School.  During her time teaching, Mrs. Janover served on numerous district level committees, was the PTO Liaison, organized an after school reading club, and provided district level staff development.  She also served in the role of Administrative Assistant, providing administrative support in various buildings.  In November of 2007, Mrs. Janover was appointed Acting Principal of Ravine Drive School.  In May of 2008, she was then appointed Principal of Ravine Drive, a position she feels fortunate to hold.  She also serves on the District DEAC Committee.
    Mrs. Janover earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Monmouth University, a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning, as well as a Masters Degree in Administration, Supervision and Curriculum Planning from Georgian Court University. 
    In Mrs. Janover's role as the instructional leader of Ravine Drive, her administrative philosophy is to provide each child with a learning environment that is both creative and attends to their individual needs, while involving staff members and parents in the development and delivery of a technology-infused curriculum.  Her goal is to develop and maintain an effective learning climate in the school and to participate in the development, evaluation, and revision of the curriculum delivered.  Her professional career has been focused on providing all students with the tools necessary to reach their individual potential.  As the building administrator, this focus extends to ensuring that the professional staff also possesses the tools and training that they need to deliver the curriculum in an effective and challenging  manner.
    Mrs. Janover is the mother of four children.  She enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, reading, vacationing with her family, and learning to play golf with her husband.
